The last day, St. Thomas\u2019s Day, is the Anti-Pasch. Each day of this week is a celebration of PASCHA. During ordinary time, PASCHA is celebrated only every weekend. This tradition is a direct carryover of the Jewish Passover which is celebrated for eight days. During the period from PASCHA to Pentecost Sunday is counted as the <u>first<\/u>, not last, day of the week<\/p>\n<p><strong>The ARTOS <em>. . . <\/em><\/strong>is the special loaf of bread we bless on PASCHA and then distribute on St. Thomas Day. This loaf reminds us that Christ, Who IS truly THE bread of life, is with us.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong><em>\u0425\u0440\u0438\u0441\u0442\u043e\u0441 \u0412\u043e\u0441\u043a\u0440\u0435\u0441!\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0REMEMBER . . . <\/em><\/strong>Monday and Tuesday are \u201cSplash\u201d Days. Guys splash gals on Monday and on Tuesday the gals have their revenge. Silly?
